Today I will be sharing with you a poem I wrote. I wrote it for a poetry contest. I might enter but I don't know??
Here it is:
Memories flowing through my head
Captions of what people said
Some good some bad
I have to get this out before I go mad


I want to act, yes indeed
Maybe it's time to plant that seed
People say I won't make it
I try not to listen, but I can't stop it


A show called ONCE ignited this flame
A lot of people feel the same
Take my friend for example, her name is Claire
She takes the stage like no ones watching, she doesn't care


Acting is a character change not you
At least that's my opinion, is it yours too
I feel right on the stage in front of lights
Maybe this is the cause of those long nights

You are The Smile I Can't Replace

Recently my family and I adopted. What a long journey that was... Whooo, glad it's come to an end. The process was long but worth it. We now have a little baby girl. We got her when she was ten days old. Now she is two and a half months. She was born on Valentines day.
She is the most smiling baby you'll ever see.(Unless she's hungry that is.) Her big grin gets me every time. She has brought some many amazing people in our lives. Her goos and gaws are irreplaceable.

A Whole New World!

As we jump into spring, it gets warmer. Not only that, but people are happier. I absolutely LOVE spring. All the beautiful flowers and trees just bring joy into the air. I don't know about everyone else, but I like when people are happy. That's why I like spring. Warm weather brings so many good memories and happy times. It's not that I don't like winter... It's just that spring and summer are better. It seems that people are down and gloomy in winter but when it's warm its just like a whole new world. Not only the weather and things around change but our happiness levels go off the charts(unless you like school and cold days) I like to think of hot and cold like... Boy and girl. They're completely different. They are like people. Winter is some old lady with anger issues. And summers like a joyful little girl that like spring up and down. Like I said in spring it's like a whole new world! 

Let It Go

Over the years I've realized that we need to let things go. Things will happen in life we don't like, but we can't hold on to them. I know this isn't the meaning of the song, but I like this meaning better. If someone does or says something to you, let it go. If we hold on to bad things, we won't realize how much good stuff happens. We won't be content. Like people say, "Forgive and forget,"

Use Your Words to Inspire

For a girl my age, It's hard to speak all "nice" things about other people. I have decided that speaking rude and mean things, doesn't do anything. All it does is tear someone else down, and supposedly build me up.
Like the song, "Speak Life" says we should use our words to inspire. Inspire is not another word for embarrass. We should not go around talking behind someone's back. Eventually it WILL get around to them. The verse, Ephesians 4:29 says:
Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that if it may benefit those who listen.
